Skill Development Of Farmers Of Baluchistan (SDFB)

Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) from its own resources launched a special project of “Skill Development of the Farmers of Balochistan (SDFB)” under PSDP Research for Agriculture Development Program (RADP) to train 1000 farmers of Balochistan Province at National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC) Islamabad. The Agriculture Polytech Institute (API) of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) organized a training courses for small farmers of Balochistan under RADP Sub-Project “Skill Development of the Farmers of Balochistan” at National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC) Islamabad for capacity building of the farmers in the area of crop sciences, horticulture, agri-mechanization, water resources, animal sicences and value addition. NARC is a national organization at federal level which works for all provinces. Research on all important agricultural commodities is conducted at this centre. Federal Ministry of National Food Security and Research (MNFS&R) and PARC give high priority to Balochistan Province in their projects.
