More than 13 years of experience as gender Expert in both humanitarian and development work, I have steadily developed knowledge, skills and attitude that would allow me to effectively lead and manage an office and team to achieve organizational goals and mission.
Trainings and manual development: Deliver trainings and prepared manuals on Organizational Development, Human Rights, DRM, HAP& HAZERD, HVCA,PMP,VDMC,ICBDRM,WASH, CLTS, BCC, Agri & harvesting, Pressurized irrigation, SPHERE, Conflict resolutions, First Aid in CBDRM, Child centered CBDRM, Women centered CBDRM, SBDRM and Gender mainstreaming in emergencies. Prepare School and health centers safety manuals and plans.
Gender Expert:
Gap Analysis, Capacity building, Manual Development, Gender Monitoring end evaluation framework, gender Specific Policy making, Gender action plan and gender mainstreaming.
Program Development:Program planning, analysis, review and program evaluation. Develop SOPs, and policies. Fund raising, preparing, maintaining data base, staff capacity building and TNAs.
Program Execution: Execute relief, rehabilitation and development projects in all over the Punjab with various donors and implementing partners with quality and within time limits. Conducting baseline and end line surveys, data analysis, need assessments, conducting project orientation workshops, project appraisal meeting in community, preparing COs, through PRA tools, preparing DIPs, evaluation progress as per log frame goal, prepare exit strategies with sustainability.    Â
Program Monitoring:Conduct Participatory monitoring involving communities and other stakeholders to track the planned activities as per log frame, evaluate the activities in terms of quality, quantity and methodology. Prepare monitoring matrix, formats and questionnaire for different activities. Review the program / project activities in the context of monitoring results.  Â
Administration & Logistics: I have managed office administration with maximum 20 staff members including Community mobilizers, administrative, finance, logistic, Effective Citizen Groups, and support staff. Conducting weekly and monthly staff meetings to discuss work plans, progress, and activity-based requirements. Manage the logistics and warehousing. Responsible for conducting staff TNA and prepare their capacity building plans and arranging the trainings, conducting pre and post training evaluations.
Conduct gender-sensitive analysis for ensuring that the differential needs, constraints, capacities and priorities of women and men are understood and addressed. • Participate and conduct stakeholder consultations/limited household surveys in the targeted cities on the challenges and issues • faced by both men and women particularly vulnerable groups including elderly, women headed households, minorities, people • Update the gender mainstreaming strategy and gender action framework for the project with a focus on; i) increased women and girls' access to urban spaces; ii) increased women's access to decent employment and economic opportunities; iii) increased women's participation in improving the municipal services both as beneficiaries and as agents of change. • Provide strategic advice and technical support for integrating gender into the project’s policies. • Facilitate the Director Gender / Gender Specialist in implementation of the capacity building program for the EAs and IAs. • Assist in planning and scheduling of KPCIP work plan and identify gender specific aspects and needs in individual sub-projects. • Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and consultations with the relevant stakeholders in the selected cities to collect • information on the existing challenges faced by the cities in relation to urbanization (in general) and pertaining to the scope of the • project (in particular) Assist the City Implementation Unit (CIU) and Project Management Unit (PMU) to increase GAD awareness • amongst different departments and stakeholders. • Facilitate and assist in gender analysis of the proposed sub-projects and prepare reports for these subprojects. • Analyze documents, compile lessons learned and disseminate best practices related to gender mainstreaming at both the CIU and • PMU level. • Liaison with the relevant provincial and district administration for managing GAP in each of the sub-projects.
Work under the guidance and supervision of Project Manager and Technical Training Specialist and in close coordination with region coordinators, project team.
• Capacity building of project field staff including Producer Unit Managers, Field Facilitators, Social Mobilizers and Women Village Trainers regarding Decent Work as per BCI/ILO intent
. • Provide strategic direction to Producer Unit staff (Producer Unit Managers, Social Mobilizers, Field Facilitators and Women Village Trainers) for the adoption of Decent Work indicators at PU/Farm level. • Guide the Producer Units to prepare the detailed plan for implementation of Decent Work.
• Contribute towards the sustainability of Producer Units while developing business models for women workers to generate income alternatively.
• Ensure the on-time collection, credibility and quality of all types of data as relate to Decent Work adoption, research or impact assessments.
• Collect and compile the success stories, blogs and activity details as the result of introduced interventions and report preparation.
• Carryout the monitoring and evaluation activities while visiting the sites and conducting the review and feedback sessions at office and to ensure the implementation of Corrective Actions in their true spirit regarding Decent Work.
