- Develop and implement testing procedures to validate the precision and reliability of sensor outputs.
- Conduct performance tests under different environmental conditions to assess device robustness.
Signal Integrity and Troubleshooting:
- Use specialized testing tools and equipment to verify the integrity of output signals from transmitters.
- Identify and rectify signal distortions, noise, and interference, ensuring high-quality data transmission.
- Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues that may arise during the testing and deployment phases.
Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform routine maintenance on installed instruments to prevent degradation of performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning devices, and repair or replace components as needed.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacement history.
- Document all installation, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting procedures, creating comprehensive guides for future reference.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure that instruments meet industry standards and project requirements.
Project Planning and Execution:
- Participate in project planning meetings to provide technical insights on instrument-related aspects.
- Contribute to the development of project timelines and milestones related to instrument installation, calibration, and testing.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure project deliverables are met within stipulated timelines.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling instruments, tools, and hazardous materials.
- Promote a safe working environment by identifying potential hazards and taking necessary precautions.
Requirements:
- Relevant technical degree or certification in electronics, instrumentation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sensor technology, signal processing, and data communication protocols.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools to assess signal integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team on project-based assignments.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
