The Assistant Manager Organizational Development will play a key role in shaping and refining the organizational structure and processes at Orient Apparel and Orient Ceramics. This role involves creating, updating, and maintaining job descriptions, departmental procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, the Assistant Manager will contribute to the development and implementation of organizational policies, and drive initiatives in training and development to enhance employee skills and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Job Descriptions:

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive job descriptions for all roles across the organization.
    • Regularly review and update job descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect current responsibilities and requirements.
  2. Departmental Procedures & SOPs:

    • Design, implement, and update departmental procedures and SOPs to streamline operations and ensure consistency across departments.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand and document workflows, ensuring all procedures align with organizational goals.
  3. Organizational Policies:

    • Assist in the creation and revision of company-wide policies, ensuring they are compliant with legal standards and align with the company’s mission and values.
    • Communicate policies effectively to all employees and provide guidance on their implementation.
  4. Training & Development:

    • Identify training needs across the organization and develop programs to address skill gaps.
    • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and development programs to enhance employee capabilities.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  5. Organizational Development Initiatives:

    • Support organizational development projects aimed at improving efficiency, culture, and employee engagement.
    • Conduct research and stay updated on best practices in organizational development to recommend and implement new strategies.
  6. Collaboration & Support:

    • Work closely with HR and department heads to ensure alignment of organizational development activities with business objectives.
    • Provide support and guidance to employees and management on organizational development matters.
