We are a leading engineering company looking for a dynamic and ambitious Engineers to join our procurement team. Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products in the field of industrial applications, specifically targeting the oil & gas industry and electro-mechanical sectors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications for industrial equipment.
- Source and procure industrial equipment, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and adherence to quality standards.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sourcing and procurement with a focus on industrial tools & equipment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with the oil & gas industry and electro-mechanical sectors is a plus.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
