Sourcing / Procurement Engineer

We are a leading engineering company looking for a dynamic and ambitious Engineers to join our procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to kickstart their career in sourcing and procurement, focusing on industrial equipment for the oil & gas industry and electro-mechanical companies in both private and public sectors. The position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a combination of remote and office-based work.

Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products in the field of industrial applications, specifically targeting the oil & gas industry and electro-mechanical sectors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications for industrial equipment.
Source and procure industrial equipment, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships with suppliers.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and adherence to quality standards.
Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions.
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong interest in sourcing and procurement with a focus on industrial tools & equipment.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with the oil & gas industry and electro-mechanical sectors is a plus.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
