Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support to our customers. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive prompt and efficient service for any technical issues they may encounter. Your main responsibilities will include:

Responding to customer queries via email, phone, or in-person.
Troubleshooting network connectivity issues, both in-house and at the customer's location.
Diagnosing hardware and software faults and providing solutions.
Escalating complex technical issues to the relevant team members.
Testing and evaluating new technologies to improve our services.
Documenting customer issues and resolutions in the company's database.
Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment and software.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in an ISP or telecommunications company.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with Linux/Unix systems is a plus.
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are preferred.
