uPage is a Rawalpindi based startup that aims to revolutionize how people interact with the world wide web through a platform that that helps simplify the process of creating a website for both individuals and businesses in developing economies such as Pakistan. We're passionate about empowering people through the Internet since we think the Internet can serve as an amazing tool for facilitating global communication, artistic expression, economic upliftment, free speech and social change. We're also very interested in helping promote localized community based applications of technology and content in Pakistan’s native languages of Urdu, Pashtu, Punjabi, Balochi and Sindhi. We want to make website creation a simple and accessible process because we think individual websites are the building blocks of the world wide web; millions in the developing world are unable to utilize the Internet's real potential due to the 'western' nature of content and design - we aim to change that.
