The Ambassadors of Love, Arts and Peace (ALAAP) is a civil society organization dedicated to the vision of creating a democratic, peaceful and knowledge based society by developing reliable database on socio-political issues, enhancing interfaith interaction between religious communities and promoting arts as cultural defense against rapid militarization of society.

ALAAP is a movement for the restoration of secular and peaceful society of cultural and religious diversity. ALAAP envisions a democratic state of Pakistan with constitutional guarantees regarding basic rights and freedoms of the citizens as enshrined in United Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

ALAAP strives to fight for the people�s right to know by conducting research studies on socio-political issues and general trends in the society. ALAAP endeavors to nullify the mythologies and hate propaganda through promoting facts.

ALAAP attempts to reduce people�s lack of information about each other�s. It brings different religious communities closer and organizes joint celebrations of festivals and events. It works as social bridge between religious communities and tries to lessen the ghettoization of religious minorities.

ALAAP believes in the fact that the people of Pakistan are intrinsically peace lovers and collective cultural expressions are the greatest defense against onslaught of religious extremism fast dominating the socio-political environment of Pakistan. Considering culture and religious extremism as two opposite poles, ALAAP strives to strengthen the arts and culture and turn artists, especially creative youth, into peace activists by emphasizing upon pro-peace role of arts in the history of Sub-Continent.
