Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests. Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone). Setting up accounts for new users. Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary. Testing new technology. Possibly training more junior staff members.
Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency.
Maintain files and records with effective filing systems.
Schedule agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management.
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.). Monitor office expenditures and handle all office contracts (rent, service etc.).
Perform basic bookkeeping activities and update the accounting system.
Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
Check troubleshoot issues with equipment like printers, computers, scanners and servers.
They run software updates backups when requested.
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, servers and application software and system management tools.
