• Identifies and captures opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability, by designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.

• Uses RCM concepts to optimize work processes, adapt maintenance tools and procedures to improve equipment utilization and reliability, and minimize service quality incidents

• Planning and undertaking and carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work

• Responding to equipment faults; diagnosing breakdown problems and faults.

• Supervise fitment of new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly by quality inspections; obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings.

• Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues; Keeps current with latest equipment, technologies, and maintenance methods.

• Procure specialist fixtures, fittings or components and machines according to the demand of production & Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment; managing stocks of supplies and equipment

• Participates in technical audits and compliance assessments, and follows up on closure of remedial action plans

• Improving health and safety policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
