概要

I am a highly motivated, result-oriented and self-disciplined researcher with 7 yearsacirc international teaching experience. Research focuses on general Human Computer Interaction, including cross-cultural design, cross-cultural classification, classification systems, globalisation, localisation, and cultural inclusion. Specialising in Cross-cultural Interface Design that resulted in publications at international conferences. Contributions made not only to research but also helped lead to significant work efficiency improving at University Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia and University of Huddersfield, UK.

Currently looking cultural differences in classification from cultural prospective and produced 7 research papers with the dissertation viva is due.

In 2004 developed Knowledge Portal as the result of knowledge management research enabling Faculty of Computer Science amp Information Technology staff to find all faculty information at one place, increasing their working efficiency by avoiding duplication

In 2001 designed the first working Digital Library in Pakistan as part of the MSc. (Software Development), enhancing searching capability and availability of the documents

I have excellent problem solving and analytical skills as well as ability to liaise with people from all backgrounds, being able to remain calm under pressure and being sensitive to needs of others, non-judgmental approach to work, adaptable individual who maintains a professional manner in the work place with the ability to plan projects and prioritise conflicting demands.

Worked as a bridge between research team leader and students during 18 months research at university in Malaysia successfully met different deadlines with multicultural group members

Worked with four different modules leaders and produced outstanding results at Middlesex University

Apart from the academic accomplishments, currently being a SIA licence and Fire Safety Certificate holder and volunteer in London Marathon since 2005 and other activities.

Engaging in academic environment is always my first choice and my ambition is to become a forward thinking academic, achieve excellence in teaching and further extend research activities contributing to the research application.
