Worked with the FWO Civil Contracting L.L.C (Pakistan Army) as Civil Site Engineer in Zayed Military City, UAE. The project comprises of Olympic Standard Swimming Pool, Basket and volleyball Hall, Gymnasium, Jacuzzi and FIFA Standard Football stadium for the UAE Army. • Set out the works in accordance with the CMW (Command of Military Works) drawings, specification and International Standards • Liaised with the project planning engineer regarding construction programs • Checked materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements • Observed safety requirements • Supervised and counseled juniors and foremen. • Measured and valuated (in collaboration with the project quantity surveyor where appropriate) • Provided data in respect of variation orders and site instructions • Prepared Shop Drawings with draftsman, technical submittals, Pre-concreting inspection requests and Work inspection requests. • Prepared of daily, weekly, monthly progress reports and forward to head office • Reviewed the job of subordinate staff and reassigning task in absence of any subordinates • Resolved technical issues with employer’s representatives, suppliers and subcontractors • Coordinated with procurement department and company’s other project for materials, machinery and equipment • Coordinated with Ready-mix Concrete Vendors • Managed Company’s higher management staff and Client visits at the Site
