As Head of Business Development and Quality, I am responsible to provide leadership to the Business Development and Quality assurance processes of International Rescue Committee in Pakistan. I also lead the process of identifying funding opportunities, creating, cultivating, and growing relationships with a wide variety of donors and leading the process of writing winning proposals to resource the strategy of the IRC Pakistan. Reporting to the Deputy Director Programs, s/I serves as the donor focal point, and is responsible for managing a complex portfolio of grants, and potential commercial contracts, and for leading program and proposal development processes. The HBDQ works closely with the Deputy Director Programs to ensure the quality of programs and reports and collaborates closely with the program, finance and operations teams to ensure compliance with IRC and donor requirements. Staff responsible to and supervised by the HBDQ is the MEAL Coordinator, AMU Coordinator and Senior Manager Compliance.

The Senior Program Development Manager is responsible to provide hands-on support to team in donor landscaping, tracking funding opportunities, program design/development, and internal coordination.
The Program Development Manager reports to the Senior Awards Management Coordinator and is responsible to ensure that funding proposals are drafted with a stronger quality and in compliance with the donors’ provisions while ensuring strong coordination with respective colleagues at country office, region and HQ levels. The Program Development Manager is responsible to provide hands-on support to team in donor landscaping, tracking funding opportunities, program design/development, and internal coordination.
• Efficiently supervise daily administration and people management of the school support team to deliver technical support and other capacity building interventions to the district education officers, PTC/SC, and CCSI members.
• Define deliverables, mentor resources, conduct performance review, conduct performance reviews and ensure transparency and accountability at all levels, as well as compliance with organizational SOPs.
• Function in collaboration with provincial managers and lead team members to ensure and deliver program, and approve bi-weekly school visit schedules for the DEs’, CDCs’, and SDE.
Internal and External Coordination/Correspondence
• Expertly identify sources and recommend actions to the board to secure operating funds for the district. Administer district grants, donations, and agreements and coordinate with staff to keep informed of status of grants.
• Actively liaise with district government officials to discuss progress, as well as resolve and report issues at the District Level, province, or CPMU. Meet with SST and minutes to the PD and provincial managers in 2 working days.
Monitoring and Problem Resolution
• Utilized MIS Dashboards and random field visits to examine inspections by the district engineer and community development coordinator. Administer the veracity and validity of project scope and contract related data in the MIS.
• Cooperate with SDE to prepare and compile materials for monthly Board of Supervisors meetings, including agendas, correspondence, and other information.
Administrative Support
• Manage and reconcile the accounts for petty cash and OSA and deliver excellent first-rate logistical support to the SST members in achieving tasks on a weekly basis.
Key Accomplishments:
• Collaborated with government, education department, schools’ management to identity and resolve issues with action plans. Revised work plan and recommence work on all sites to ensure completion of schools.

• Steered project perception survey for The Asia Foundation in Pakistan, as well as established and provided annual reports to the directorate of human rights, government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan.
• Efficiently supervised base and end line survey for IHA-2 Project and evaluated capacity needs of human rights departments and attached departments for the Care International in the Pakistan.
• Spearheaded programmes with over 30 projects of different donors and executed organizational strategies to enhance project planning and reduce cost by 45% within 8months.
• Proficiently developed case studies for ActionAid Pakistan and, led multifunctional teams and key contributors and trained programme staff to ensure satisfaction level of clients.
