Responsible for leading the consulting department and team, management and coordination of projects/programs in the areas of education, food security & livelihood, WASH and climate change, research, monitoring and evaluation and capacity building interventions across Pakistan and Nigeria. Networking and establishing strong working relations with partners, clients and donor agencies, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables in a quality manner as per project’s agreements. Identify and pursue new funding opportunities to diversify clients of the company across Pakistan, Afghanistan and West Africa (particularly Nigeria). Ensure resource generation for the sustainability of the consulting department by meeting new donors and submission of winning proposals and concept notes in response to RFPs for projects. Drafting of detailed analytical research and M&E reports as per need of the projects including baseline studies, KAP studies, mid-term review and external evaluations etc.

End to end management of various emergency projects (COMNet, Community Based Vaccination funded by UNICEF-Pakistan and Polio Third Party Personnel supported by WHO-Pakistan, retail site staff capacity building & training and audit funded by SHELL across Pakistan. Management of staff and offices across Pakistan for smooth operations of the programs and ensuring quality, compliance and accountability. Coordination with donor, staff and other stakeholders at the national and provincial level for building working relationships. Preparing budgets and implementation plans for efficient and quality implementation of projects’ interventions. Designing and implementing M&E and complaint management systems for different projects. Submission of project progress and annual reports of the project. Moreover, support the senior management and business development team in developing concept notes and proposals concerning UNICEF, WHO and other donors’ requests for funding proposals. Represent the organization in program’s management meetings and other forums.

Overall management and implementation of health emergency projects and programmes. Coordination and liaison with national and provincial stakeholders and project’s staff for implementation of interventions. Ensure quality implementation and adherence to SOPs in all project’s activities. Management of regional and field offices and staff across three provinces (KP and FATA and Punjab-Pakistan) for smooth operations of the programs and ensure quality, compliance and accountability. Ensure training management, recruitment, and staff management components of the projects.

Overall management of various projects in the Humanitarian Relief and Early Recovery Program funded by Miseror in 15 flood-affected districts in three provinces (Sindh, Punjab and KP) of Pakistan. Ensure capacity assessment and designing of capacity development programmes for partner’s organization with respect to their human and institutional development. Reviewing POs projects, providing technical inputs to partners developed project for smooth implementation, developing partnership agreements and implementation plans, undertaking strategic reviews of partners and monitoring of partners implemented projects in different thematic sectors. Designing of M&E system for quality assurance, accountability and compliance. Submission of progress, annual and project completion reports.  Participation in undertaking consulting assignments related to the M&E area. Provided technical inputs in responding to RFPs and preparation of EOIs and proposals for consulting assignments.
 

Responsible for undertaking appraisal visits of PPAF-World Bank partner organizations and development of partnership agreements and implementation plans. Providing technical inputs to partners’ developed projects for smooth implementation. Reviewing partner organizations’ projects, undertaking strategic reviews of partners and monitoring and evaluating partners’ implemented projects in different thematic sectors.

Responsible for overall project management, implementation and coordination of civil society human and institutional development programme (supported by SDC-IC) in 26 targeted districts across Pakistan. Reviewing the project proposal and LFA of partner organizations. Monitoring the implementation of projects and undertaking project reviews and learning workshops to ensure quality. Organizing and delivering project reviews and learning workshops. Implementation of primary education program in six districts of KP, 02 districts of Punjab and two districts of Sindh. Additional responsibilities were the implementation of the teachers’ training program. Inputs in writing of project progress and completion reports.

Responsible for overall programme design, implementation and management of environmental health program (in urban slum areas of district Rawalpindi) of Alfalah Foundation funded by Concern Worldwide as well as earthquake 2005 interventions of the organizations.
