Supervise all maintenance activities within APL’s Bulk Oil Terminal so as to minimize down time and improving equipment efficiency.
Responsible to carry out the preventive maintenance of following equipment: Loading Pumps, Decantation Pumps, Genset, Swing Ladders, Loading Arms, Valves, safety equipment, Gantries, pipelines, tanks, Roads etc.
Corrective maintenance of any of the above equipment in a planned way to keep the down time minimum.
Commission, implement, maintain, and improve Mechanical Installations, equipment, facilities, components and systems.
Evaluate all installations as per load requirement & ensure capacity when adding new pipelines in/out.
Formulate mechanical design and as-built drawings (Piping drawing, isometrics, list of equipment etc.) of new and current projects.
Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Ensure safe working environment.
Any additional job assigned by terminal maintenance In charge.
