- Supervise all maintenance activities within APL’s Bulk Oil Terminal so as to minimize down time and improving equipment efficiency.
- Responsible to carry out the preventive maintenance of following equipment: Loading Pumps, Decantation Pumps, Genset, Swing Ladders, Loading Arms, Valves, safety equipment, Gantries, pipelines, tanks, Roads etc.
- Corrective maintenance of any of the above equipment in a planned way to keep the down time minimum.
- Commission, implement, maintain, and improve Mechanical Installations, equipment, facilities, components and systems.
- Evaluate all installations as per load requirement & ensure capacity when adding new pipelines in/out.
- Formulate mechanical design and as-built drawings (Piping drawing, isometrics, list of equipment etc.) of new and current projects.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Ensure safe working environment.
- Any additional job assigned by terminal maintenance In charge.
