Rawal Institute of Health Sciences (RIHS) is a Private Limited Company registered under Section 32 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984, bearing Corporate Universal Identification no. 0075266. The Institute comprises Rawal Medical and Dental College attached with the Rawal General and Dental Hospital. RIHS is recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) and affiliated with Bahria University Islamabad. The Purpose built institute with state of art facilities is set up on 3 acres land owned by the Board of Governors. At present, the facility has a covered area of 200,000 sq. ft. extendable to another 90,000 sq. ft. The Rawal General and Dental Hospital has a capacity of 250 beds at present with plans underway to extend it to 500 beds. A modern and comprehensive diagnostic center in the hospital not only meets the teaching requirements but also provides free services to the poor and deserving people. With a highly qualified and professionally competent faculty, RIHS values and fosters superior level of medical education and academic success among all the students.
