About Hazrat Syed Muhammad Abdul Razzaq Jilani:
A friend of God has affection like the sun. When the sun rises, it is beneficial to all. All persons derive heat and light from it irrespective of their religion, believes, color, cast or creed. Hazrat Syed Muhammad Abdul Razzaq Jilani Qadri Naqshbandi Chisti was one of such sufis fully devoted to serve humanity. His family lineage traces back to Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jilani (R.A.) Master of all saints, thus tassawuf runs through his blood.
Hazrat Syed Muhammad Abdul Razzaq Jilani Qadri Naqshbandi Chisti is not the name of a person, but of a mission, an urge and a passion. His persona is versatile in qualities and attributes. It was his humanism, disposition and piety which won over the hearts of people. He was a famous scholar of great repute.
He was amongst the founders of Tibbia College Dehli. His contribution to Tassawuf and Hikmat is a hallmark. He was famous in entire Indian subcontinent for his expertise in Tib-e-Younani. He was very much involved in other welfare projects also but was much keen to do the same very quietly. He also constructed a Mosque and Rest house near Gujar wala Railway Junction in Amroha. Another mosque was constructed in Chandpur. He is the author of several books most of them are on Hikmat and Tib-e-Younani. One of his famous books, "Taleem-ul-Qabla", is available in Library of Dargha Shah Jilani. He was also the editor of famous magazine "Mujulla Tibbia". He proved to be the most outstanding and multifaceted personality of his era. He is buried in Tibbia College Dehli.
