1TV is one of the leading Afghan privately owned General Entertainment television channels, launched in February 2010. 1TV was established by Mr. Fahim Hashimy to provide Afghanistan with a channel that will unify Afghans and provide programming that transcends racial and ethnic barriers in order to promote hope and peace. The channel endeavors to create programs that stimulate, entertain and inform by also promoting human rights, free and open expression.
