Key Responsibilities:

Translate written materials from Chinese (Simplified or Traditional, depending on the need) into [target language] and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
Proofread and edit translations to maintain consistency in tone, style, and terminology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, legal, product development) to adapt content for different markets.
Localize content (e.g., websites, product descriptions, contracts) for Chinese-speaking audiences.
Maintain and update a glossary of key terms to ensure consistent use across all translated materials.
Review translated materials for cultural sensitivity and appropriateness in both source and target languages.
Assist in interpreting during meetings, webinars, or other live events when required.
Meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher from a Chinese university (preferably in Chinese language, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field).
HSK Level 5 or 6 certification.
Proven experience as a translator, with at least 0-2 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
Attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality translations under tight deadlines.
Strong research skills and the ability to adapt language to different industries, including technical, legal, or marketing content.
