You will be responsible for:

Entering patient information and charges into the medical billing software.
Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits for patients.
Preparing and sending invoices and statements to patients and insurance companies.
Posting payments and adjustments to patient accounts.
Handling inquiries and complaints from patients and insurance companies.
Maintaining records and reports of billing activities.

To be eligible for this position, you should have:

Minimum Bachelors degree or A Levels studying towards Bachelors degree. Employer may ask to provide proof of admission in Bachelors

At least 1 year of experience in medical billing or a related field.
Good computer skills and familiarity with medical billing software.
Knowledge of medical terminology and billing procedures
Should be able to prepare, review, validate and transmit claims over medical billing software with minimum supervision.
Should be able to identify and bill secondary and tertiary insurance.
Manage Accounts receivables.
Communicate with the patients and insurance companies and adjust their accounts accordingly.
Knowledge of medical terminology and billing procedures
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
