As a Product Hunter, you will be responsible for scouting, researching, and evaluating potential products that align with market trends, consumer demands, and our platform's objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of new products into our Shopify ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Market Research:

Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes in the e-commerce space.
Analyze market data and customer feedback to understand product demand and potential opportunities.

Product Scouting:

Utilize various channels, including industry events, social media, and online platforms, to discover innovative and trending products.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to stay informed about new product releases.

Evaluation and Selection:

Develop criteria for evaluating potential products based on factors such as market demand, quality, pricing, and competitive positioning.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to make informed decisions on product selection.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure a coordinated approach to launching new products on the Shopify platform.
Provide valuable insights and data-driven recommendations to optimize product listings and enhance the overall customer experience.

Negotiation and Procurement:

Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and reliable fulfillment processes.
Coordinate product procurement and ensure timely delivery to meet customer expectations.
