As a Product Hunter, you will be responsible for scouting, researching, and evaluating potential products that align with market trends, consumer demands, and our platform's objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of new products into our Shopify ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Market Research:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes in the e-commerce space.
- Analyze market data and customer feedback to understand product demand and potential opportunities.
Product Scouting:
- Utilize various channels, including industry events, social media, and online platforms, to discover innovative and trending products.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to stay informed about new product releases.
Evaluation and Selection:
- Develop criteria for evaluating potential products based on factors such as market demand, quality, pricing, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to make informed decisions on product selection.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure a coordinated approach to launching new products on the Shopify platform.
- Provide valuable insights and data-driven recommendations to optimize product listings and enhance the overall customer experience.
Negotiation and Procurement:
