Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Ensure the IT and internet needs of HRCP staff are efficiently met.

2. Manage conception, preparation and implementation of the office IT setup; ensure all HRCP users have access to all relevant licensed software, including antivirus, MS office and GIS software; assess the security threat to HRCP IT systems and ensure it is appropriately mitigated; ensure that emails and key electronic files are backed up regularly; support the programmes/project staff in all IT-related tasks; ensure maximum performance of internet connectivity; install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications; and develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.

3. Support the procurement and purchase of IT-related items.

4. Responsibility for upgrading and maintenance of of the HRCP Monitor database; ensure online reporting, troubleshooting of the database system issues; provide support to other units in acquiring and analyzing the information; be responsible for generating alerts on project milestones and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

- Purchase systems where appropriate
- Design, test, install and monitor new systems
- Prepare documentation and present progress reports to customers
- Organise training for users and other consultants
- Be involved in sales and support, and where appropriate, maintain contact with client organisations
- IIentify potential clients and build and maintain contacts.

Network Administration:
Serve as main point of contact on all IT-related matters for the program.
Integrate and configure network to protect all sensitive company information and maintain system integrity on an “always on” DSL/ Fiber Optic connection.
Monitors, runs & assures smooth operations of LAN & E-Mail (Linux, qmail).
Databases design and administration. Installation of Active Directory, Email Server and Web Server on Microsoft and Linux Virtual infrastructure deployment Converted legacy environment to virtualized environment. Xen/ESXI deployment.
Oversee and implement all hardware and software troubleshooting for SPO’s primary location and maintain constant network uptime and data access.
Provide 24-hour disaster recovery in the event of network downtime and/or building destruction. Create and regularly refine backup to ensure data and network integrity.

Database administrator:
Maintains and updates Databases in Oracle and SQL Server 2008:-
Provide support to MIS and HRMIS web base / online application of SPO
Provide support for Finance Section of Sidat Hyder Financial – GL , Provident Fund and payroll applications
Provide support for Program Section to their Program application developed in JAVA (Front End) and Oracle
Travels and visits
Plan and visit all SPO locations on yearly basis.
Visit to every new offices to plan network and IT setup prior to staff recruitment.
