Tracking Pathways of Empowerment and Change aimed to interrogate the factors that are motivating women to break with traditional discourses and life patterns to enter the formal workforce.
Worlds in the Making I, II aimed to develop students reading, comprehension and writing skills in Punjabi, Urdu and English and to use participatory teaching techniques to make learning enjoyable and meaningful for students.

Coordination among civil society groups, networks and organizations. Involving and strengthening the capacity of policy makers, legislatures and stakeholders for solidarity and keeping them informed regarding issues pertaining to women, minorities and socially excluded communities (ethnic, linguistic, religious etc.) to influence legislation and policy making.
Major inputs Reviewed the concerned policies and action plans of Government of Pakistan with reference to women's health, education and their role in decision making at national and domestic level.
Formatted an action research methodology and conducted advocacy campaign, interviews, oral histories, Focus Group Discussions, workshops and seminars.

Previous Experience My work experience at Simorgh in the capacity of a Research Associate has allowed me to research into gender issues of my preference. As part of my job requirement I assisted in research work for Simorgh's Socio-legal Journal BAYAN and I am also writing a paper for Simorgh next annual conference acircCiting of Culturesacirc Jan 2006. My paper is takes a look at movies, which are based on Indo-Pak relationship, I particularly pay an emphasis on the role or image of women in these movies, and what the impact of these movies is on Indian and Pakistani viewers. In my study experience we have experienced of fieldwork, in which we done little survey studies, which based on problems of working women in middle class families.
Simorgh is now starting a new four-year project acircPlanting the Seeds of Changesacirc. Its aims are to create awareness regarding basic citizen's rights and human rights among member of the police personal including their own rights, change in mainstream perception with regard to women addressing the issue of gender relation like legal rights, domestic violence, child abuse, health awareness, right to food. Life, education and decision-making. The target population for this project is the women from community, local councilors, doctors and students. This project also focuses on improving police-public relations especially in cases related to women i.e. domestic violence cases, and creates awareness about health problems like HIV/AIDs, STD.
