Responsibilities and Duties:

System Development and Management:

Design and implement a comprehensive data and filing system that meets the needs of various departments.
Oversee the migration of data to new systems, ensuring minimal disruption to company operations.
Maintain the integrity and security of the company’s data across all platforms.

Data Governance:

Develop and enforce proper data governance policies to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Regularly review and update data management procedures and policies in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.

Training and Support:

Provide training to staff on the proper use of the data and filing systems.
Offer ongoing support and guidance to employees regarding data management best practices.

Compliance and Security:

Monitor compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
Implement security measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alterations, or breaches.

Records Management:

Ensure accurate and efficient management of physical and digital records.
Supervise the regular review, archiving, and disposal of documents according to retention schedules and policies.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Utilize data analysis tools to generate reports and insights that support decision-making.
Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure data needs are met for analysis and reporting purposes.

Collaboration and Communication:

Liaise with department heads to identify data and filing system needs and to ensure system functionality aligns with business objectives.
Communicate any system updates or changes to all staff members promptly.

Problem-Solving:

Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Continuously improve the data management system to enhance performance and user experience.
