We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial records, managing sales tax, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Record and reconcile sales tax, advance sales tax, and material in/out transactions.
- Prepare and manage receivable notes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to make informed financial decisions.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the cosmetic industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
- Experience with inventory management and cost accounting.
- Familiarity with sales tax laws and regulations.
