Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial records, managing sales tax, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Record and reconcile sales tax, advance sales tax, and material in/out transactions.
Prepare and manage receivable notes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and anomalies.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to make informed financial decisions.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the cosmetic industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
Experience with inventory management and cost accounting.
Familiarity with sales tax laws and regulations.
