CambridgeDocs Pakistan Pvt Ltd, an MIT startup founded in February of 2002, leads the way for document repurposing in the Financial Services, Healthcare, Publishing and Manufacturing markets.
CambridgeDocs Pakistan is the developer of xDoc, a cross-platform Java-based product for repurposing existing unstructured and semi-structured content, and readying it for multi-channel publishing. xDoc can convert Microsoft Word, HTML, Adobe PDF, and Adobe FrameMaker files into XML formats. Once transformed, the content can be made available for delivery through XML-based Web Services, classified and indexed within enterprise information portals, and aggregated, assembled and (re)published in multiple formats, including HTML, PDF, and RTF, on virtually any operating system.In addition to developing its own xDoc line of products, CambridgeDocs-Pakistan also develops products for other organizations. These products are developed using many different technologies, including PHP, C, Java, .NET, Ruby, and others. CambridgeDocs is privately held with offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Lahore, Pakistan.
