Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IAS and other relevant financial regulations.
- Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
2. Accounting Operations:
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely reporting.
- Implement and maintain robust accounting policies and procedures.
3. Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file all necessary tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the organization.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits and tax planning.
4. Accounting Software Management:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of accounting software to enhance financial processes.
- Train and support accounting staff in using accounting software and tools effectively.
- Analyze financial data through software to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
5. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on achieving departmental and organizational goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage staffing needs within the accounting department.
6. Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of financial strategies and budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
