Front Office Specialist will be responsible for Inbound / Outbound patient calls. They will be responsible for handling all the patient related communications with respect to patients
Job Descriptions for Front Office:
• Answer phone calls, email inquiries or refer them to the relevant person.
• Communicate with patients to set up and schedule appointments.
• Also make confirmation calls before the appointment (if any need).
• Gather and track medical information from patients.
• Organize and input data into electronic health records.
• Inquire and process the patient's health insurance.
• Take prior authorization if needed.
• Also take benefits from the patient's respective insurance by calling or email or fax.
• Communicate with the internal office team and providers to ensure patients are helped and everyday tasks are accomplished.
• Understand and maintain HIPAA regulations Required Skills for Front Office:
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Efficient problem solver.
• Strong Knowledge of EMR/EHR and Practice Management Systems (PM)
• Strong knowledge of the medical language and health insurance plans.
• Previous medical office or virtual receptionist experience
• Experience with computer programs, such as Microsoft Office. Required Qualifications for Front Office:
• Must be a high school graduate
• Must have relevant experience of 1 - 2 Years
• Working with US campaigns and exposure to US clients is a must.
