ZY Edits is seeking an experienced Whiteboard Animator with at least two years of hands-on experience in creating engaging and visually compelling whiteboard animations. This role involves crafting professional and creative animations that effectively communicate ideas through visual storytelling, custom characters, typography, and voiceover synchronization. The ideal candidate will manage a team of five, overseeing the production process to ensure high-quality deliverables that align perfectly with client brand messaging and expectations. The animator will be responsible for guiding the team through script writing, storyboarding, animation, and final production phases within a timely manner. This position requires strong expertise in storyboarding and animation techniques, attention to detail in creating colorful characters, and the ability to design clean, readable typography. Additionally, managing background music and voiceover integration is critical to create polished and professional videos. The role demands excellent organizational skills to keep projects on schedule, with each project typically delivered within three to five days. Working collaboratively with the team, the Whiteboard Animator drives the creative vision while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders to produce engaging whiteboard animations that captivate audiences.
Responsibilities

Write or refine scripts to ensure the message is clear, engaging, and easy to follow.
Develop structured storytelling that maintains viewer interest throughout the video.
Design custom, professional-quality colorful characters that complement the clients brand identity.
Create and integrate clean and readable on-screen text using appropriate typography styles.
Record or oversee crystal-clear voiceovers with professional sound quality and no background noise.
Select and incorporate background music that enhances the mood and engagement of the animation.
Manage and coordinate a team of five animation professionals to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
Review animation projects regularly to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and client expectations.
Collaborate with clients to incorporate feedback and revisions effectively within project timelines.
Ensure each animation project is completed within the typical delivery window of three to five days.
Maintain organization of assets, storyboards, voiceover recordings, and final video files for each project.
Stay updated with the latest animation software, techniques, and industry trends to continuously improve quality.
Troubleshoot any technical or creative challenges encountered during the animation process.
Develop and present animation samples for client approval at various stages of production.
Deliver final animations in suitable formats optimized for various platforms and distribution channels.
