General Electrician

Zucs is seeking a skilled Electrician with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems and is proficient in interpreting electrical blueprints. This role involves performing commercial wiring installations, constructing electrical panels, and diagnosing faults effectively within various commercial environments. The Electrician will work independently and as part of a larger team to ensure electrical systems are installed and maintained safely according to industry standards. The Electrician must be capable of handling complex wiring tasks on electrical panels and creating custom electrical panels from specifications while adhering to safety protocols. Attention to detail, safety consciousness, and problem-solving skills are essential. This position does not involve managing a team but requires excellent communication skills to collaborate with other trades and project stakeholders effectively. Work at remote sites, inside power plants etc.

Responsibilities

Install commercial wiring systems according to blueprints and specifications.
Interpret and analyze electrical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Construct and wire custom electrical panels for various commercial applications.
Diagnose electrical faults and perform troubleshooting to identify and repair issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes during all installation and maintenance work.
Maintain and repair existing electrical systems to ensure optimal operation.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on schedule.
Use appropriate testing devices to verify electrical systems function properly before project completion.
Document work performed and maintain records of electrical system modifications and repairs.
Stay current on industry developments, new technologies, and safety regulations.
