Zoe Solutions LLC seeks a detail-oriented Layout Engineer to join our remote team full-time. In this role, you design and develop technical layouts and drawings to illustrate how LED products integrate into customer applications. You leverage your expertise in layout design, digital file management, and technical drawing tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel to create clear, precise, and workable diagrams, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and a commitment to producing reliable and accurate technical documents that support the estimation process effectively. The ideal candidate possesses intimate knowledge or the ability to quickly learn LED product lines and specifications. You focus on optimizing workflows and streamlining the layout creation process for maximum efficiency. Although this role does not involve team management, it requires close collaboration with other departments to deliver technical designs that align with project requirements. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative LED lighting solutions while working fully remotely within the U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and refine technical layouts and drawings used to show effective integration of LED products in various customer applications.
Utilize digital tools to modify drawings across multiple file formats, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and usability of technical documents.
Optimize and streamline the workflow for layout creation to ensure fast turnaround times while maintaining high-quality results.
Collaborate with estimation teams by providing precise technical drawings that support the overall estimation and project planning efforts.
Apply knowledge of LED product specifications to create detailed and accurate layouts that meet client and project needs.
Manage digital asset libraries including Document Management Systems and Digital Asset Management platforms to maintain organized and accessible layout files.
Maintain attention to detail throughout the creation and revision process to guarantee the quality and integrity of technical drawings.
Employ problem-solving skills to address unique challenges presented by different layouts and product configurations.
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices for technical design and documentation.
Effectively use software tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel to manipulate drawings and layout data efficiently.
Maintain strong time management practices to consistently deliver technical drawings within promised deadlines.
Continuously improve layout processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and increase the quality of output.
