Structural Draftsman

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Draftsman to join our team at ZiS Solar & Chemicals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed structural designs and drawings using CAD software, with a focus on metal structures. The candidate should have a strong understanding of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) design codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed structural drawings for solar energy projects, focusing on metal structures such as frames, supports, and mounts.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate, high-quality 2D and 3D structural designs.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure that designs align with project specifications and requirements.
Review and interpret technical drawings and sketches, incorporating feedback and changes as needed.
Analyze structures using relevant software (e.g., STAAD Pro, Tekla, or SAP2000) to ensure stability, strength, and durability (knowledge of analysis software is a plus).
Ensure that all designs adhere to Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) codes and standards, including but not limited to local, international, and industry-specific regulations.
Assist in revising designs based on field surveys, construction feedback, and structural analysis.
Maintain a strong understanding of current industry trends, materials, and construction techniques for metal structures.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Structural Draftsman with expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.).
Knowledge of metal structure designs and their application in solar projects.
Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro, Tekla, or SAP2000) is a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of various PEB design codes (e.g., AISC, ASCE, and local codes).
Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and project teams.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Relevant degree or certification in drafting, structural design, or a related field.
