Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing accounts up to trial balance for a portfolio of clients
- Performing bank reconciliations and processing payments
- Producing and submitting VAT Returns
- Supporting the team with accounts preparation
- Occasionally supporting the team with processing payroll
- Using accounting software's such as Xero, Sage & QuickBooks
Requirements:
- Experience working in a UK accountancy practice is desirable
- Accounting qualifications such as fully or partially AAT/ACCA qualified
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Have experience with Xero & QuickBooks
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
