Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This includes managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The HR Manager will play a key role in developing a positive organizational culture and fostering a productive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding programs.

2. Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, addressing and resolving employee issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct investigations and mediate disputes as needed.

3. Performance Management:

  • Develop and implement performance management systems, including performance appraisals and goal setting.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related matters.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate appropriate programs.

4. Compliance and Policy Management:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies as necessary.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to policies and legal requirements.

5. Training and Development:

  • Identify and address staff training needs, developing and delivering training programs.
  • Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

6. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive salary structures and benefits packages.
  • Manage employee benefits enrollment and answer related queries.

7. HR Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Utilize HR software to manage data and generate reports.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.

8. Strategic HR Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and enhance employee engagement.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop HR teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • Experience in the [specific industry or sector relevant to the company].

Working Conditions:

  • This position typically works in an office environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for recruitment, training, or other HR-related activities.
