We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our team at Yak Taxi. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our computer network infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain the company's computer network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot network hardware and software components.
- Monitor network performance and ensure its reliability and security.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement network policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct regular network audits to identify and resolve any issues or vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users regarding network connectivity and related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for network improvements and upgrades.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security.
- Experience with MikroTik or similar network devices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
