Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Job Overview
We are a well-established UK-based accounting firm seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Development Representative to support the firm’s growth by promoting our professional accounting and advisory services to UK-based clients. This is a mid-level role suited to an experienced sales professional with strong selling ability, exceptional communication skills, and a good understanding of professional services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new business relationships and expanding our client portfolio across small and medium-sized enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities with UK-based clients
- Promote and sell the firm’s services, including Managed Accounts, Year-End Accounts, and Advisory Services
- Conduct sales calls, virtual meetings, and face-to-face client presentations
- Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate accounting solutions
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities using CRM systems
- Work closely with internal accounting and advisory teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
- Represent the firm professionally in all client interactions
Required Qualifications and Experience
- FSc, O-A levels in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in a mid-level sales or business development role, preferably within professional services
- Strong selling, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial services clearly
- Experience dealing with UK-based clients
- Confident, professional, and client-focused approach
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience selling accounting or financial services
- Experience working with UK clients
- Experience working with SMEs
