Xpact Financial seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager Accounts to oversee and manage the company's financial accounting and reporting functions. This role involves processing and analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with taxation regulations, and supporting the preparation of accurate financial statements. The Assistant Manager Accounts plays a crucial part in maintaining effective accounts payable and receivable processes while utilizing ERP accounting software and financial consolidation tools to improve financial operations and reporting accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills, complemented by an ACCA qualification or being an ACCA finalist. This position also involves leading and managing a small team of 2 persons, ensuring their tasks are completed efficiently and supporting their professional growth. The role requires collaboration across departments to help align financial operations with company objectives, improve financial controls, and participate in budgeting and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate must be organized, reliable, and capable of analyzing financial data to contribute to strategic decision-making at Xpact Financial.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial data consolidation and reporting using ERP accounting software and financial analysis tools.
  • Maintain compliance with taxation laws and regulations while managing tax returns and related financial documentation.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Lead a team of 2 accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in the implementation and usage optimization of ERP accounting software and other financial reporting tools.
  • Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both finance and non-finance personnel.
