We are seeking a creative and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a deep understanding of sandwich-making, and the ability to create other diverse dishes. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting food that meets our high standards of quality and taste.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of sandwiches and other menu items.
- Develop new recipes and refine existing ones to enhance our menu.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the management team to create seasonal menus and special dishes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a restaurant specializing in sandwiches or casual dining.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Creativity and a passion for developing new recipes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
