We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing technical support for our network infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and resolving any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in computer science, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The position is primarily remote, with occasional in-office requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain network systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Assist in the configuration and maintenance of network hardware and software.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement network improvements.
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing network-related queries and issues.
Document network configurations, changes, and support procedures.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in network support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or FSC in Computer Science.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with network security principles and practices.
Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.

Office Skills: Proficiency in using office tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Communication: Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.

Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with occasional in-office work. Must be self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
Previous experience in a network support role is advantageous, but fresh candidates are also welcome to apply.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
