StructuraL Draftsman

Work Together is seeking an experienced Structural Draftsman with a strong background in structural detailing, reinforced concrete design, and steel detailing. The ideal candidate has at least 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience preparing detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Structure. This role requires a thorough understanding of both reinforced concrete and steel structures to ensure accurate and precise documentation that supports construction and engineering teams. The candidate does not manage a team, focusing instead on delivering high-quality structural drafts and collaborating effectively with engineers and architects to meet project requirements. The Structural Draftsman plays a key role in transforming engineering concepts into accurate visual layouts for execution. The position demands attention to detail, ability to interpret technical drawings, and proficiency in relevant CAD software. The candidate must ensure compliance with design codes and client specifications while producing drawings that facilitate efficient construction processes and seamless coordination among project stakeholders. This role is vital in maintaining the quality and consistency of structural documentation throughout project lifecycles.
Responsibilities

Develop detailed structural drawings for reinforced concrete and steel structures using AutoCAD and Revit Structure software.
Interpret and translate engineering designs, sketches, and specifications into precise structural drafts.
Prepare drawings that comply with applicable design codes, standards, and client requirements.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of structural details.
Revise drawings based on feedback and technical changes while maintaining version control and documentation standards.
Produce comprehensive steel detailing and reinforcement bar schedules that support fabrication and installation processes.
Assist in resolving design discrepancies and provide clarifications on structural aspects to stakeholders.
Organize and maintain structural drawing files and documentation for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
Ensure timely delivery of drawings to meet project milestones and construction timelines.
Maintain awareness of new technologies and industry best practices in structural drafting and CAD tools.
