Responsibilities

Lead the structural design of residential buildings using engineering principles and standards.
Prepare detailed structural calculations and design documentation ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Develop accurate structural drawings using AutoCAD and other design tools like ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
Perform structural analysis to evaluate the integrity and safety of designs under various loading conditions.
Design reinforced concrete and RCC components, producing accurate bar bending schedules (BBS) to guide construction.
Coordinate architectural and structural elements to ensure seamless integration and resolve any design conflicts.
Supervise site activities related to structural works, ensuring construction aligns with approved designs and safety standards.
Manage and mentor a team of three engineers or technicians, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to clarify requirements and update project progress.
Review and approve structural drawings and documentation prepared by team members for quality and accuracy.
Stay updated with the latest building codes, standards, and industry best practices relevant to residential structural engineering.
Conduct technical assessments and recommend appropriate modifications to improve structural performance and cost efficiency.
Ensure all documentation is meticulously prepared for regulatory approval and project handover.
Assist in troubleshooting structural issues during construction and advise on corrective measures promptly.
