Work Together is seeking a skilled MEP Engineer with at least five years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate specializes in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering with strong expertise in designing, analyzing, and implementing building systems. This position requires proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools, AutoCAD, HVAC design, plumbing systems, and mechanical system analysis to support construction and site activities. The MEP Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that all systems comply with project specifications and industry standards while collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. As an MEP Engineer at Work Together, the focus is on site engineering tasks related to installation and commissioning of MEP systems without managing a team. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. The engineer supports on-site activities by coordinating with project leads and contributing to quality assurance throughout the construction process to deliver efficient and reliable building systems.
Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs using BIM and AutoCAD software to ensure accurate and efficient system layouts.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the overall building design.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee installation of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure conformity with design specifications and regulatory codes.
  • Perform mechanical systems analysis to evaluate system performance and recommend improvements for energy efficiency and reliability.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and progress reports.
  • Support procurement processes by providing technical specifications and evaluating equipment and materials for MEP systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving on-site technical issues that arise during installation or commissioning phases.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards throughout the MEP installation process.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Utilize advanced software tools such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, and HVAC design software to enhance design accuracy and coordination.
