Work Together is seeking a highly skilled Army Retired Civil Engineer with at least 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering design, project management, and construction management, complemented by expertise in risk management for engineering projects. Having retired from military service, the candidate is expected to bring discipline, leadership, and strategic planning capabilities. This role involves managing a team of 10 persons, leading complex civil engineering projects from conception through completion, while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations. The selected individual will oversee all phases of construction projects, applying extensive knowledge of construction management software and methodologies. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to guarantee project success. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 10 civil engineering professionals to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering projects including roads, buildings, and infrastructure development.
  • Utilize construction management software to track project progress, resource allocation, and scheduling.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements and quality standards are upheld.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budget estimates, and resource needs.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for senior management and clients.
  • Apply military discipline and leadership skills to enhance team performance and project delivery.
  • Ensure all engineering deliverables conform to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
