Axiom World Pvt Ltd is offering a full-time WordPress Developer Internship based in Johar Town, Lahore. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career developers with up to six months of practical experience who want to deepen their skills in WordPress development. The internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world website projects within a supportive and growth-focused environment. Working hours are from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and the position includes a starting monthly stipend of Rs30,000. Attendance is required on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of responsive WordPress websites. Convert design concepts and project requirements into fully functional web pages. Customize WordPress themes, plugins, widgets, and page builders to align with project needs. Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to implement website functionalities. Support ongoing website maintenance tasks such as troubleshooting, bug fixing, and performance optimization. Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across different browsers and devices. Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and team members to deliver projects on time and according to specifications. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress and web development. Participate actively in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews under the guidance of senior developers. Follow development best practices to maintain clean, organized, and efficient code.

Required Qualifications

Up to six months of hands-on experience in WordPress development gained through internships, academic projects, freelance work, or similar engagements. Basic to intermediate proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Familiarity with WordPress CMS, including dashboard management, themes, plugins, and popular page builders such as Elementor and Gutenberg. Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. Basic skills in website troubleshooting and debugging. Strong eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise in web development. Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
