WordPress Developer

We are seeking a motivated WordPress Developer to join our team and gain valuable hands-on experience in web development with a focus on WordPress. This role involves close collaboration with design and development teams to build and maintain secure, high-quality WordPress websites that align with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain security best practices for WordPress installations, including SSL setup, firewall configurations, and protection against vulnerabilities such as XSS and CSRF. Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code that adheres to WordPress coding standards. Ensure visual consistency and maintain design aesthetics while delivering high-quality websites. Work with RESTful APIs and data formats like JSON and XML. Act as the primary resource for debugging PHP back-end issues related to WordPress plugins and custom themes, providing innovative and effective solutions. Develop and maintain reusable components such as custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks with top-tier code quality. Optimize website performance using techniques like caching, minification, and lazy loading. Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project needs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime. Collaborate closely with the design team to seamlessly integrate design and functionality. Work alongside other developers to implement new features and functionalities. Stay current with the latest WordPress development trends and best practices to continuously improve the development process.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Four to five years of professional experience in WordPress development. Proficiency in web technologies including CSS, CSS3, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and web services such as REST and SOAP. Strong understanding of WordPress core, including hooks, APIs, database structure, and best practices. Expertise in PHP back-end development within the WordPress ecosystem, including themes and plugins. Familiarity with security principles relevant to web development. Ability to write efficient, reusable code and debug complex issues effectively. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

The position offers a competitive monthly salary of Rs110,000, along with an Eid bonus and bi-annual performance-based increments.
