We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer with at least five years of experience and strong expertise in PHP. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of modern digital media and a passion for working collaboratively within a team to deliver user-centric solutions. This is a full-time, permanent position based onsite in Lahore. Candidates must be able to commute reliably or be willing to relocate before joining the team.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop both backend and frontend components for new projects, taking a full-stack approach. Collaborate closely with team members and clients to implement innovative technical solutions. Continuously maintain and improve existing customer websites to ensure they perform optimally and provide an excellent user experience.
Required Qualifications
Expert-level proficiency in PHP with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience. Demonstrated ability to build WordPress themes and plugins from the ground up. Strong command of HTML and CSS. Advanced JavaScript skills, with experience in frontend frameworks like React or Vue considered an advantage. Solid knowledge of MySQL or comparable database technologies. Experience working with APIs and various interface integrations. Proficient in version control systems, especially Git. Ability to identify and fix SEO-related issues effectively. Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Kirby, or PHP frameworks like Laravel. Familiarity with server administration and deployment processes. At least five years of experience working specifically with WordPress, including the WordPress API. Minimum three years of SEO experience. Strong frontend development background spanning five years.
